Conducting underwater visual census (UVC) biodiversity surveys of fish, invertebrates and habitat (volunteer); communications; community and media relations; coordination for Australia's east coast; training.

SEAHORSE MONITORING

Woollahra Council

Monitoring seahorse populations (particularly the threatened White's seahorse) on Council assets. Seahorses in Sydney Harbour are often found on swimming enclosure nets and in Posidonia seagrass beds.

WEEDY SEADRAGON MONITORING

UTS, Seadragon Search

Monitoring weedy seadragon populations on the east coast of Australia, including Sydney, Jervis Bay, Melbourne, Hobart and Bicheno. Photographic and video records, collection of genetic material.
